Account Information
- Name and email address (from Google Sign-In)
- Profile picture (from Google account)
Academic Data
- Gradesheet Data: Your uploaded grade information for CGPA calculation and degree tracking
- Routine Data: Class schedules and timetables you upload or create
- Course Information: Courses you add for tracking and planning
- Task Data: Assignments and tasks you create
Google Calendar Access
If you choose to sync with Google Calendar, we access your calendar data to add, update, and remove your class schedules and events as requested by you. We do not read, store, or share any other calendar information.
3. How We Protect Your Data
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do NOT share, sell, rent, or distribute your gradesheet data, routine data, Google Calendar access data, or any user profile data with anyone or any third party.
- No Data Trading: Your academic records and personal information are never used for advertising, analytics by third parties, or any commercial purposes.
- Secure Storage: All data is stored securely with encryption and access controls.
- Limited Access: Only you can access your personal data through your authenticated account.
4. Uploaded Documents and Gradesheets
- Zero Sharing Policy: Gradesheets, transcripts, and any other academic documents you upload are NEVER shared with any third party, including BRAC University administration, faculty, or other students.
- Local Processing: Whenever possible, data processing happens locally on your device or in a secure, isolated environment.
- Purpose Specific: These documents are used strictly for parsing your results to display your CGPA, completed courses, and academic progress on your dashboard.
- User Control: You maintain full ownership. You can delete these uploaded documents from our system at any time.
5. How We Use Your Data
- Display your class schedules and routines
- Calculate and track your CGPA and academic progress
- Sync events with your Google Calendar (if enabled)
- Provide personalized dashboard and notifications
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns (anonymized)
6. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. You can delete your data at any time by removing specific items or by requesting account deletion.
